Main Street Wings might be a new concept, but this little chicken shack didn’t come about overnight. Everything you get delivered to your door is powered by three Charleston guys + a team that have been experts in chicken wings for decades. That’s about as long as it took to perfect all of our sauces, our process, and the perfect wing to sauce ratio.

The Beginning
1990
When Joe, David, and Andy met, they were working at a chicken wing restaurant that would grow to over 40 locations across the Southeast thanks to their guidance. Back in the 90’s though, chicken wings were still a new concept, especially outside of Buffalo, NY. As pioneers of bringing chicken wings to the people across the South, to small towns everywhere, they know a thing or two about what they’re doing. This time, they’re bringing them right to your doorstep. Read on to learn more about the roads they traveled before returning to Charleston to bring you Main Street Wings.

Spreading Our Wings
2013
We spent a little over two decades learning everything there is to know about chicken before we flew the coop in 2013. Back home in Charleston, we spread our wings to open a new venture, SOL Southwest Kitchen & Bar and more recently, Eleven81 in the Market at Oakland.
It’s been 10 years since we opened SOL, a Southwestern Tex-Mex concept with 3 locations, but we’re still known as the chicken wing experts here in town. Guess you can say it’s in our DNA.

Now, with over 3 decades of experience, we’re back serving up our famous chicken wings. After all these years, we know that our secret sauce recipes create chicken wing perfection when the wings come from chickens that are free from antibiotics and hormones, fresh from the farm and never, ever frozen.
